Booker's New Ad: 'Together We Can Do Better'

Newark Mayor launches the second television ad of his U.S. Senate campaign Tuesday.

Newark Mayor Cory Booker on Tuesday released the second television ad in his bid to win a vacant U.S. Senate seat.

The 30-second spot, titled "When," sends an upbeat message of cooperation and accomplishment. It moves through a montage of meetings and hand shaking, mixed with scenes of Booker addressing both casual and formal audiences.

The ad is peppered with text overlays of Booker’s accomplishments in his two-term tenure as the mayor of the state’s largest city – attracting $200 million in investment in public schools, shootings down 27 percent, creating thousands of new jobs.
