A married father of two, Kevin Cieri blogs about life in Long Branch and the surrounding towns both back in the day and in the here and now at "Jersey Shore Retro" -- found ONLY on LongBranch.Patch.com.

For close to 40 years, Kevin has served the area as a community activist -- the co-chair of the Long Branch (NJ) Cable TV Commission; a life member of the West Long Branch (NJ) Fire Company #2; a life member of the Long Branch Historical Association; and a volunteer on numerous other community service and/or public service endeavors in and around Monmouth County whenever his killer schedule permits.
Originally from West Long Branch, Kevin currently lives in the city of his birth -- Long Branch, New Jersey.
He holds a BA in communications from Glassboro State College (now known as Rowan University) and a Master's degree in Technology Management (MTM) from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
