Police Release Name of Man Who Died in Easter Sunday Crash in West Long Branch
Police say they will not release autopsy results
Police have released the name of the man killed in Sunday's early morning crash in West Long Branch. Weverson F. De Andrade, 22, of Long Branch was pronounced dead at the scene and was found inside a red, two-door BMW that had overturned after hitting a pole on Wall Street around 2 a.m. on April 8. A 16-year-old female passenger, also from Long Branch, was extricated from the wreck and was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune for treatment. The girl's name is not being released because of her age. De Andrade's autopsy results will not be released according to West Long Branch Police Captain Lawrence Mihlon, so it is unclear what his cause of death is and if alcohol was involved. Capt.
