Application will be heard May 6
Wawa's application to build a convenience store and gas station on Route 35 in Eatontown has been put on hold once again. The application was scheduled to be heard by the Eatontown Zoning Board of Adjustment on Monday night, but Wawa's attorney Peter Falvo asked for it to be moved to the May 6 meeting. The board approved the change but said the applicant would be required to re-notice property owners that live in the vicinity of the proposed project. The developer's application also includes a strip mall that includes a bank and drive-through Chick-fil-A at the site of the vacant Circle Trailer Park and the Lube It All near the corner of Route 35 and Wycoff Road. Professional and witnesses were unable to attend Monday night's meeting
An application to build a new Wawa convenience store and gas station on Route 35 in Eatontown has been carried by Eatontown Zoning Board of Adjustment. The application was scheduled to be presented during Monday night's meeting, but the applicant's attorney Peter Falvo said his professional and other witnesses were unable to attend the meeting. The board unanimously decided to carry the application to its April 1 meeting at 7:30 p.m. The application will be second on the agenda and will be preceded by an application to build an indoor miniature golf course on Hope Road. Proposal on table to build convenience store to Route 35
Wawa's application to build a new convenience store on Route 35 in Eatontown will be heard by the borough zoning board tonight at 7:30 p.m. The application was originally scheduled to be heard by the Eatontown Planning Board last month, but was moved to zoning board's agenda last week. Eatontown Mayor Gerald Tarantolo has said developer's application includes a plan to build a Wawa convenience store and a strip mall that includes a bank and Chick-fil-A at the site of the vacant Circle Trailer Park near the corner of Route 35 and Wycoff Road. Application to build on former site of Circle Trailer Park on Route 35 will be heard by Eatontown Planing Board soon
A proposed plan to build a Wawa and strip mall on the site of the vacant Circle Trailer Park in Eatontown will be coming before the borough planning board in the near future. Residents of the trailer park were asked by the property owners to move out in 2009 because of their intention develop the land, which is located on Route 35 near Wycoff Road. Eatontown Mayor Gerald Tarantolo said developer's application includes a plan to build a Wawa convenience store and a strip mall that includes a bank and Chick-fil-A and bank. New location opened Friday on Route 70 in Lakewood
WaWa celebrated the grand opening of its newest Ocean County location Friday by making donations to local Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. CEO Howard Stoeckel presented a $10,000 donation to the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean County and the Community Food Bank of New Jersey while marking the opening of the convenience store chain's new location on Route 70 in Lakewood. "It's remarkable how people have been bringing the community back to life and supporting one another," Stoeckel said. A tractor-trailer containing 8 tons of food and disaster relief supplies was parked alongside the store. Over 260,000 meals have been delivered by the food bank since Sandy struck. They said the same thing about the industrial park. Homeowners did go to the meetings. Lighting was to be softened, deliveries were supposed to be restricted. Manhattan Bagel was getting delivereies at all hours of the night and day. The 3:00am deliveries were great as the trucks banged away to get all the flour out of the inside of the trucks.
