Eatontown Looking to Acquire Running Track at Fort Monmouth

Officials say track would also be used by Memorial School

Eatontown officials have expressed their desire to acquire the running track at Fort Monmouth for the borough. Councilman Dennis Connelly said the county was originally going to acquire the property, which is located off of Park Avenue, but is no longer interested. Connelly said he envisions sharing the property with Memorial School so its students could use the track and field for sports.
