Dedication Ceremony Held For New Monmouth University Facility
Building is new home to Monmouth University’s Department of Art & Design and Principal Art Gallery
Monmouth University dedicated the new Joan & Robert Rechnitz Hall on Sunday, Jan. 27. The 20,340 square foot facility is the new home to Monmouth University’s Department of Art & Design and Principal Art Gallery and includes a two-story gallery, reception area, three state-of-the-art MAC labs, animation and editing studio, classrooms, faculty offices, and a student lounge. Rechnitz Hall was designed by Monteforte Architectural Studios of Ocean Township. Rechnitz Hall, designed in the style of the former 800 Building, provides students with cutting-edge technology as well as large, open studio spaces devoted to traditions of drawing, painting, the all-important foundations, and various art history offerings.
