Neptune man charged with several Monmouth County robberies
A Neptune man is facing several charges after committing a string of robberies in Monmouth County and shooting a cab driver in Asbury Park. Quam Wilson, 22, of Neptune Township, was arrested by detectives from several jurisdictions on a variety of charges that stemmed from a 24 hour crime spree that took place in four local towns, including Long Branch. Wilson is presently housed at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution and is being held on a total bail of $1,112,500 with no 10 percent cash option. Wilson’s crime spree began on Tuesday, November 13 at approximately 5:00 a.m. when he shot and robbed a cab driver in the area of Seventh Avenue in Asbury Park.
