Dangerous Afternoon: Two Serious Motor Vehicle Accidents Sunday in Tinton Falls
Wayside Fire Company responded to two serious motor vehicle accidents on Sunday, including a motorcycle accident that left a 13-year-old girl hospitalized.
Two motor vehicle accidents in Tinton Falls on Sunday lead to even longer-than-normal traffic delays and left six people hospitalized, according to Wayside Fire Company Number One Capt. Thomas Wieczerzak. The Tinton Falls fire company respnded to a call at 3:44 p.m. on July 31 for a two-vehicle accident at Mile Post 105.8 in the southbound express lanes and Wieczerzak said that "one vehicle, a van with a family, overturned several times." Wayside firefighters used the Jaws of Life to extract the driver and all four occupants incurred serious injuries, including one possible life threatening injury.
