Lt. Governor Visits Gregory School in Long Branch

Kim Guadagno spoke to students about significance of Black History Month

Recognizing the contributions of African Americans to the nation’s culture and history, Acting Governor Kim Guadagno spoke to students at Long Branch’s Gregory School on Thursday on the significance and meaning of Black History Month. During her visit, the Acting Governor also presented the school with two banners from The King Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The banners, which celebrate the anniversary of the Martin Luther King, Jr. national holiday and Dr. King’s birthday, were presented to the school in recognition of the 150th Anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation and the 50th Anniversary of Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream Speech.” The Acting Governor will also present a set of banners during her visit to Martin Luther King Elementary …

Lt. Governor Makes Second Visit to Fast-Growing Eatontown Businesses

Kim Guadagno visits Burpee Materials Technology, LLC

  Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno continued her tour of New Jersey's fastest growing businesses with a visit to Burpee Materials Technology, LLC in Eatontown on Friday morning. Burpee manufactures stents and stent delivery systems for medical procedures and is located at 23 Christopher Way in Eatontown. Guadagno met with business owners and then toured the facility. She was showed how a stent is built and got to meet several employees. Guadagno spoke to the business owners about opportunites the state can give them to grow their business and applauded them for keeping their business in New Jersey.
