Fundraiser will be held at Jack's Goal Line Stand
The Long Branch Rotary Club is holding a fundraiser for Habitat For Humanity tonight. The fundraiser, A Night For Music, will be held at Jack's Goal Line Stand, 149 Brighton Ave., from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tickets for the event can be purchased at the door and are $15 each. Chris Morrisy, George Lazarou, The A.D.D. Band and The Music of Tom and Tony will perform. Habitat For Humanity is a "nonprofit, ecumenical Christian Ministry founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live," according to the group's web site.

Event set for July 18 at Deal Country Club
The Long Branch Rotary Club is holding its first annual Art Show at Deal Country Club on July 18. The show will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and the entrance cost is $65. Admission includes the sale of curated artwork from local artists and beer and wine samples from Court Liquors. Cold coffee samples from Rook Coffee Roasters and hot and cold hors d'oeuvres will also be available. Event proceeds will benefit the Long Branch Rotary Club's fundraising efforts for local food banks, scholarship programs, the Ronald McDonald House, Shelter Box Disaster Relief, clean drinking water in Latin America programs. Clambake will be this Thursday at 5 p.m.
One of the meals that makes people think of summer on the Jersey Shore is a clambake filled with fresh seafood, good friends and beautiful weather. Long Branch Rotary will hold its annual Clambake on Thursday, Aug. 11 at 5 p.m. at the Long Branch Ice Boat & Yacht Club located at Renwick Place off Patton Avenue.
