City Hosting Hurricane Sandy Recovery Workshop For Residents
Workshop set for Saturday, Feb. 16 at Long Branch Fire Headquarters
The city is hosting a recovery workshop and information session for Long Branch residents who are still recovering from Hurricane Sandy. The workshop and information session will be held on Saturday, Feb. 16 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Long Branch Fire Headquarters located at 205 Union Ave. A message from the city states that, "Space and time is limited so anyone planning on attending must register by by contacting the City's Administration Office at 732-571-5640. City officials will be on hand to explain rebuilding options and discuss newly-adopted advisory base flood elevation maps, the Increased Cost of Compliance (ICC) program, Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, tax and zoning.
