PHOTOS: West Long Branch Appoints New Police Chief
Borough also names new police captain
Lawrence Mihlon was promoted from captain to chief of the West Long Branch Police Department on Wednesday night. Mihlon replaces Arthur Cosentino, who served as a police officer for the borough for 37 years. Paul Habermann was sworn in as the department's new captain after serving as lieutenant since November, 2011. The borough also appointed a new patrolman in officer Ryan Buck.
