Stabbing occurred during altercation over parking space
A resident of Pine Tree Mobile Home Park in Eatontown has been arrested and charged with allegedly stabbing a West Long Branch man on Monday night. Eatontown Police Det. Lawrence Tyler said the department received a call on Feb. 18 at 7:08 p.m. for a stabbing which had occurred on Scheri Lane in the Pine Tree Mobile Home Park, off of Highway 35 southbound. Arriving police officers found that there had been an altercation over a parking space in front of one of the mobile homes on Scheri Lane and a 34-year-old West Long Branch man had been stabbed during the altercation. Eatontown Police have arrested a second man in connection with the July 2 stabbing in Wolcott Park of an Eatontown teen. Tyjuan Browning, 19, of 225 Asbury Village, Asbury Park, was arrested on Friday by Det. Philip Emanuele for the attempted murder of a 15 year old following a dispute in the McDonald's parking lot on Route 35 that left the victim stabbed 11 times in the head, neck and back, according to police. Browning was charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an illegal purpose and taken to Monmouth County Correctional Institution and held on $250,000 bail, according to Lt. Police arrested an Asbury Park man for his participation in the July 2 stabbing of an Eatontown teen in Eatontown's Wolcott Park. Deshawn Esdaile, 20, of Borden Avenue in Asbury Park was arrested by Eatontown Police on Aug. 6 as one of four alleged assailants that allegedly attacked a 15-year-old male, stabbing him 11 times in the head, neck and back, according to Det. Lt. Lawrence Tyler. The stabbing followed a late-night altercation in the parking lot at the McDonald's on Route 35 in Eatontown. The victime was chased into neighboring Wolcott Park by four assailants and was stabbed 11 times with a folding buck knife when he slipped and fell to the ground. The 15-year-old victim of a July 1 attack in Wolcott Park was released from the hospital and expected to make a full recovery.
The Eatontown teen stabbed 11 times in Wolcott Park on July 1 has been released from the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery, said police. The 15 year old left Jersey Shore Medical Center with stitches and staples but no permanant injuries, according to Lt. Lawrence Tyler of the Eatontown Police Department. Police continue to look for the four attackers who chased the victim into the park following a late-night altercation at the McDonald's on Route 35 South on July 1.
