Another Eatontown Jewelry Store Robbed at Gunpoint
Police say incident may be related to June 18 incident
Another Eatontown jewelry store was robbed at gunpoint on Monday, the second in two weeks in the borough. This time, two men robbed Atlantic Gold Buyers at 63 Main St. in Eatontown at 12:30 p.m. Eatontown Police Det. Lawrence Tyler said two black male subjects entered the store and approached the clerk. One of the subjects, who was carrying a drawstring-type bag, pulled a handgun out of the bag and threatened the clerk with it. "The second subject ran around the counter and using a knife which he took from the top of the counter in the store, he poked the clerk in the chest with the knife," Det. Tyler said.
