Avenue Donating 10 Percent of Proceeds to Local Rebuilding Efforts
Pier Village restaurant reopens today
Avenue, one of Pier Village's three oceanfront restaurants that was damaged during Hurricane Sandy, will be reopening today and will be donating 10 percent of its sales to Jersey Shore charities through the end of the year. The restaurant, located at 23 Ocean Avenue, sustained over $100,000 in damage from Hurricane Sandy last month after high winds and water ripped through the building’s electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, which are located on the bottom of the restaurant.
