They came with capes and wands to the AMC Loews Theater for a special midnight showing of the final installment of the Harry Potter film series on Friday.
As the clock struck midnight and a swelling moon rose full in the sky over Monmouth County, hundreds of fans, dressed in gowns, cloaks, mini-skirts and prep-school-striped ties, gathered like moths to a flame at the AMC Loews Movie Theater at the Monmouth Mall in Eatontown. A special midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, the new and final installment of the Harry Potter film series and phenomenon, was presented by the theater. Patch correspondent Steve Rogers was on hand at the theater to hear all about Harry.

That was a wonderful video of the Harry Fans! I loved the comment the one young man made, saying that "our childhood may end, but we always carry it with us." (paraphrasing) He is so wise. I know that, when I go to see this film, I will cry, too! more ›
