The Long Branch and Eatontown planning boards will be meeting this week.

The Eatontown and Long Branch Planning Boards will be busy this week as they begin to hear two applications that are sure to have a lot of public opposition.

The Eatontown Planning Board will finally hear a developer's application to build a Wawa and other stores at the site of the old Lube It All and Circle Trailer Park.

That meeting will be held on Monday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. at Eatontown Borough Hall.

The Long Branch Planning Board will be hearing the first of what could be several witnesses called by TDB, a developer who wishes to build condos in the Beachfront North area of the city, on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 7:30 p.m.

The Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority (FMERA) will also be meeting this week. The board will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m.

We'll let you know what's on the agenda as soon it is posted on FMERA's web site.
