The Dawn of a New Year in Long Branch-Eatontown Area
Several councils will hold reorganization meetings this week.

With a new year upon us, local councils will be holding their reorganization meetings this week.
The Eatontown and West Long Branch Councils will have their reorganization meetings on Wednesday Jan. 1 at noon.
New council members will be sworn in at both meetings, and several mayoral appointments will be made. We will likely be at the Eatontown meeting to get some photos of the new council members.
The Long Branch Council will not be having a reorganization meeting this week, but will be holding its final regular meeting on Monday, Jan. 30 at 6 p.m.
We will also be continuing our lists of the top stories of 2013 including the most important stories of this year and the stories to watch for 2014.
