Last Concert of Summer in Long Branch, Back To School Preparations

The Long Branch Summer Concert Series will come to an end this week as the summer season also begins to close.
Brian Kirk and the Jirks will perform at Pier Village on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. for the final Thursday by the Sea concert this year.
Many of the Thursday night concerts have been moved to Long Branch Middle School because of rainy weather, so we'll see if things can stay dry this week.
We've covered some back to school stories in the past few weeks and our coverage will continue this week as children get ready to put their backpacks on and head to their classrooms.
We'll check in with the Long Branch School District to see if any changes have been made for this year and get a look at Shore Regional's newest technology upgrades.
