Ronald McDonald House Benefit Concert Rescheduled

Concert set for Nov. 5 at Asbury Lanes

The concert produced by Brian Adams originally scheduled for August 28 (cancelled due to Hurricane Irene), has been rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 5 at Asbury Lanes at 4th Avenue, Asbury Park.

The one-night only concert  will benefit the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) of Long Branch. Doors open at 6 p.m. with a cover charge of $10.

According to RMH Public Relations Coordinator Nanette Leonard, a few months ago, local producer, Brian Adams wanted to give back to his community by volunteering and toured the RMH house in Long Branch.

"I was blown away by how incredible RMH is and what they do to help the families of seriously ill children," Adams said. "I decided to help them raise money by producing this concert. I contacted some of my friends who are in bands (ChemTrail, Save Your Strength, The Amboys and Marvinsunk)  and  everyone was immediately onboard and playing free of charge."

The music genres include rock, alternative and a rockabilly style band, according to Adams.
