Residents Can Ride For Ronald McDonald House This Weekend

Biking fundraiser will begin in Seven Presidents Park on Saturday morning.

Residents will be biking for the Ronald McDonald House this weekend during a first-time event that will benefit the organization.

The Ronald McDonald House of Long Branch and New Brunswick in conjunction with The Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center is hosting the Ride for the Ronald McDonald House on Saturday, Oct. 1.

Registration for the family bike-riding fundraiser will begin at 7:30 a.m. at Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park in Long Branch. For a registration form click here.

Children under 12 can ride for free, all others must pay a $35 entry fee and can choose from one of three bike routes:

  • The Family Ride - 15 miles (Seven Presidents Park to Bradley Beach & back to the park).
  • Touring Ride - 30 miles (Seven Presidents Park to Sea Girt & back to the park)
  • The  Metric Century - 62.5 miles (More details available on race day)

Special guests will include Long Branch Mayor Adam Schneider, Deputy Chief of Detectives Karen Odom from the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Investigation Division, Asbury Park Police Chief Mark Kinmon and Ronald McDonald.
