Need Tax Help? The Long Branch Library Can Help

Library hosting free tax prep until April 17

 

Tax season can be a stressful time for residents, but the Long Branch Free Public Library is attempting to ease the pain.

The library is hosting free tax preparation by community volunteers until April 17.

This service is first come, first served, so the library is asking interested patrons to arrive early and sign in at the reference desk.

Those who wish to participate should also bring all their necessary tax information with them for any class.

E-Filing will be held on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. t0 5 p.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m.

Paper filing will be held on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesdays from noon to 6 p.m., Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Fridays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 3 p.m.
