Holiday Express Honors Volunteers

Event held last week in Tinton Falls

 

More than 100 Holiday Express volunteers sipped wine, sampled cheese and socialized at the non-profit groups annual Volunteer Appreciation Night, held at the Holiday Express warehouse in Tinton Falls last week.

The event was held in honor or National Volunteer week, as a way to thank all the volunteers who donate their time and talents to Holiday Express each season.

“Holiday Express has 1,4000 volunteers who donated more than 10,000 hours of their time last year to make the season happen," Holiday Express Executive Director Donald Pignataro said. "The selfless giving of all our volunteers year round embodies the true spirit of the holiday season.”

Holiday Express is a non-profit organiazation established by Tim McLoone in 1993. It is comprised of 1,4000 volunteers, including 100 professional rock, jazz, folk, gospel and pop musicians.

Holiday Express delivers music, food, gifts, financial support and friendship to those in need during the holiday season and throughout the year.
