Tinton Falls 9/11 Firefighters Memorial Nears Completion

9/11 Memorial at the Wayside Fire Company nears completion.

As of Aug. 30, the is almost complete. This project, which has been fully funded by donations, will be dedicated on Saturday, Sept. 10 starting at noon.

The 9/11 Memorial also includes a special dedication of the Firehouse's vestibule area to of Ladder 15 who perished in the attacks on September 11th. The vestibule memorial displays Firefighter Barry's fire gear as well as some artifacts from the World Trade Center site.

EMS, Fire and Police Departments from around Monmouth County are expected to be in attendance for the memorial dedication on Sept. 10. Additionally, the is pleased to announce that FF Jason Fazio from the Asbury Park Fire Department will be the keynote speaker for the dedication event.

Other guests include Senator Jennifer Beck, borough officials from Tinton Falls and Monmouth County officials. Members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend the Memorial Dedication on Sept. 10 starting at noon.
