Long Branch traveled to Red Bank Regional but suffered a 9-1 defeat. Aaron McCue was the starting pitcher and went 5 1/3 innings, and gave up 11 hits, 8 earned runs, 6 walks. Ashwin Mudraj pitched 2/3 of an inning in relief 0 hits, 0 runs, 1 walk.
The offense was led by McCue who was 2-3 with a double, Deigo Espinosa 2-3, Spencer Franz 1 RBI, and Tommy McGlennon 1 run scored.
