PHOTOS: Summer Season Opens in Long Branch

Ribbon-cutting ceremony held at Pier Village

Long Branch officials and businesses helped begin the summer season with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Pier Village on Friday morning.

"Seven months ago, we had no promise that we'd all be here now," Mayor Adam Schneider said. "But we were survived and we're coming back better than ever."

The Stronger Than The Shore campaign organized a large ribbon-cutting ceremony and students from Seashore School in Long Branch held it in place until it was time to be cut.

The Mayor and City Council is schedule to be at West End Beach at 9 am for a Memorial Day Tribute. I hope he has time to discuss the West End Synagogue.

Born & Raised in L B my take is the shore is being transformed into Political Hay instead of what the shore represents...Beach Havens...Mom & Pop Grill Joint Hide-a-Ways, Ocean Beach Pool Facilities, and Up Scale all rolled into one... to accommodate all walks of family levels....
