Children can enjoy the “Action Inflatable Rides,” petting zoo, and pony rides. Eatontown Recreation will also be providing soccer nets and will organize youth basketball scrimmages from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Pre-registration for these events is not required and is free.

Several community groups will be on hand to display their activities and the Eatontown Police, Fire and First Aid Squad will be there to meet children. These events are designed to allow the community to be aware of what is going on, and how to get involved.

The Eatontown Museum will organize a Historical Tour of Eatontown at 4:30 p.m.

Other local vendors will include surrounding businesses and organizations who will offer giveaways, prizes, and flyers.

Organizers say they hope to have a better turnout at this year's Community Day.

"The goal of this event is to have all-day family fun from afternoon to night while bringing a community together through food, music, and entertainment," a release from Eatontown Recreation and Community service states.
