Jersey Shore Skim Camp Hosts Skim Bash 2011

Local skim boarding camp teaches amateurs to board and brings professionals to compete.

Jersey Shore Skim Camp, the only skim boarding camp in New Jersey, is hosting its 8th annual skim boarding competition this weekend in Sea Bright.

Skim Bash 2011 will come to Sea Bright Public Beach on Saturday, June 25, and Sunday, June 26, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is nationally recognized and accredited event by Skim USA.

The contest features professional skim boarders competing for a cash purse and local amateur boardings hoping to win prizes. Spectators are welcome. This is a family event on the beach with music, food, and giveaways.

Admission is free if you have a Sea Bright Municipal Beach Badge and $8 for a daily pass if you do not.
