Shore Regional BOE Honors Athletes

Board of education gives certificates of commendation to wrestlers, field hockey player

The Shore Regional Board of Education honored several student athletes during its meeting on Thursday night.

Among those honored were District 23 wrestling champions Luke Bush and Derek Arnette and junior All-American field hockey player Hannah Barreca.

Hannah is the 14th All American to play for Shore's field hockey program, and is only the second to receive the honor in her junior year. Her coach Nancy Williams was on hand to share some kind words about Hannah. Williams said that Hannah will be going to Duke to play field hockey after she graduates Shore next year.
