POLL: Will You Support the High School's $12.3 Million Referendum on Tuesday?

Patch wants to know where you stand on Monmouth Regional's plan to purchase a bond to support a $12.3 million construction project.

On Tuesday, voters will have the opportunity to weigh in on whether or not they support the .

Monmouth Regional officials say the , which includes modernized science classrooms, the addition of an auxillary gym and asbestos removal. They also say the addition of solar paneling on the building's roof will decrease energy costs and generate  revenue for the school. The timing is also right to take on the new debt, say officials, as the high school is about to pay off the remainder of its last referendum project in 1996 that added the school's performing arts center, among other items.
