Monmouth University Sports Memorabilia Show Will Benefit Non-Profit

Show scheduled for Dec. 4

Still looking for that Derek Jeter or Carmelo Anthony rookie card? Monmouth University may be able to help you out as the school hosts a sports memorabilia show on Sunday, Dec. 4 in the Student Center, Anacon Hall,  from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The collectibles on hand will include autographed balls, bats, helmets, jerseys, sports cards, and more from professional athletes.

Tickets are $2 for the public and $1 for Monmouth University students.

Proceeds will benefit The Sam Spady Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating parents and students about the dangers of alcohol. The organization honors the memory of Samantha Spady, a 19-year-old student at Colorado State University who died of alcohol poisoning in 2004.
