Lt. Governor Visits Special Needs School in Eatontown

Kim Guadagno toured the Eatontown special needs school on Monday.

Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno visited the staff and students of Eatontown's Harbor School on Monday 

Harbor School is for children with special needs, and Guadagno spoke with  parents about the challenges they face while raising special needs children.

"She also listened to concerns from parents about how difficult it was to find a school that met the needs of their children prior to coming to Harbor School," Harbor School Media Contact Krista Newbert said.

Guadagno toured the school with Principal Anne Gunteski and was treated to a special assembly that included a performance by the Harbor School Recorder Group, a dance performance, and a school cheer.  She also helped hand out Student of the Month Awards.

Guadagno's visit ended with a presentation of gifts from the school, one of which included a custom T-shirt that read, “Harbor School Visitor of the Year," Newbert said.
