Long Branch High School Graduation Rate Increases

The graduation rate for the school has risen over the last three years.

The graduation rate for seniors at Long Branch High School has increased again.

The 2013 graduation rate for the school is up to 91.55 percent, an increase of over 6 percent from 2012 and 8 percent over 2011.

The graduation rates across the state also increased from 86.5 percent in 2012 to 87.5 percent in 2013

“High school graduation is a journey that takes more than a decade for an individual student, and at each point in that journey our teachers and principals are working hard to launch those students forward,” Commissioner Chris Cerf said in a release.  “Today, we celebrate those accomplishments and congratulate our students and educators.”
