Lippens Named Tennis All American

Shore Regional tennis star is rewarded for outstanding senior season

Shore Regional tennis player Michael Lippens was recognized for his amazing senior season when he was named a 2011 National High School Tennis All-American.

Lippens finished with a mind-blowing record of 100-4, and all of his career victories came at first singles.

 He became only the sixth player in state history to reach the NJSIAA state singles tournament finals. He was also a 3-time Monmouth County first singles champion and four-time finalist.

Lippens will play tennis for the University of Louisville after finishing 28-1 as a senior, and his jersey will be retired by the school.
