'Food for Thought' Eatontown Fundraiser Dishes Up Samplings from Over 20 Local Restaurants

The annual food and wine tasting even to benefit the Eatontown Foundation for Excellence in Education was held at the Shearton in Eatontown on April 11.

Over 20 local restaurants converged at the Sheraton Hotel in Eatontown Monday night to serve up samplings from their menus for the 11th annual Food for Thought tasting event to benefit the Eatontown Foundation for Excellence in Education.

Participating restaurants at the event, which benefits the Eatontown School District, include All Seasons in Eatontown, CJ Montana's in Tinton Falls, McLoones in Long Branch and Brandl in Belmar. Rita's and Philly Pretzel Factory will even be on hand along with the "Cake Boss"--Carlos' Bakery in Hoboken.

Hundreds of supporters filled the hotel ballroom for the event, which included various wines, breweries, a margarita and a vodka bar and music.
