Monmouth Regional High School Parent/Teacher Conferences

On Thursday, February 17, 2011, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., Monmouth Regional High School will hold Parent/Teacher Conferences. Conferences are by appointment only. Conferences can be parent or teacher initiated. Teachers will indicate their need to meet with you via the comments on the report card.

Each conference will be seven minutes in length with a two-minute passing time.  In order to get appointments scheduled back-to-back, students should make arrangements with teachers as soon as possible. Students must take this request directly to the teacher who will schedule the appointment, time, and location. Then the student returns the form to you so that you know when and where you are expected. A map of room locations will be provided when you come to school.

Although we encourage the development of a strong parent-teacher working relationship through constant communication, a conference at this time may not be necessary for students who are currently receiving exceptional grades. In order to assist more of those students who are experiencing difficulty in achieving academic success we ask parents to schedule conferences for only those classes in which they have concern. We suggest telephone conversations, e-mail updates, or Genesis Parent Portal usage in lieu of a conference for those classes in which your child is meeting with success.

If you find February 17th inconvenient, Parent/Teacher Conferences may be arranged any school day by calling your child’s counselor at 732-542-1170, extension 1101. Another alternative would be to request a phone conference with the teacher.
