Brodie's coach Dan George said last week that his to play for the Scarlet Knights and explore other options.

Brodie has stated that one of the reasons he choose Rutgers over schools such as Miami, South Carolina and the UConn, was because of the coaching staff.

Rutgers Assistant Coach Kyle Flood has reportedly decided to become the team's new head coach, according to ESPN.com, keeping a familiar face at the helm of the program for Brodie.
