Nominate Your Favorite Diners

Tell us your local favorites so we can include them in our Readers’ Choice 2012 poll.

What's the best diner in town?

Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows diners to nominate the best spots in Long Branch, Eatontown, Tinton Falls and West Long Branch.

We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included. We may not be able to add all businesses to our poll and we want to make sure our readers' favorites make the cut.

Thanks in advance for your participation.

Sign up for the Long Branch-Eatontown Patch newsletter to find out when voting starts so you can support your favorite institution in the Readers' Choice contest.

The Americana Diner near A&P is wonderful, The new manager is very nice and friendly

Barbara - Would The Americana Diner even qualify as a nomination? Reason I ask is because technically it's address is in Shrewsbury, and Patch is only looking for diner nominations located in: "Long Branch, Eatontown, Tinton Falls and West Long Branch". I do love that diner though. Anyway, I would also nominate two diners in Eatontown - Cobblestone Diner (primarily for breakfast & lunch) and All Seasons Diner (primarily for lunch & dinner). I haven't been to any of the others in nearby towns so can't comment further.

Barbara and Mesmerize, although we do like to only get nominations from those four towns, we do accept nominations from outside the coverage area. However, because the American Diner is technically Shrewsbury, it would be best to nominate it on the Red Bank-Shrewsbury Patch.

I will drive through the area tomorrow to see if I spot anything! Try googling volunteer searchRead More groups for missing dogs. There are a few in the NJ area. Also ask the local SPCA and Humane Society to see if they can lend you humane traps. Try patrolling the area with food of a strong odor...raw meat, steak, etc. Search in tiny groups and split up to avoid scaring him away, and always bring food and a leash in case you have to lure him over and then leash him. Try also sitting in the area last spotted quietly to see if he approaches you. Bring food so he smells it. Just a few things I have learned while doing some dog searches. Keep sharing and put up posters locally...it helps!
