Staging Shelter at Memorial School Opens at 5 p.m. in Eatontown

A message on the borough's Web Site urges residents considering evacuation to do so before the storm hits.

A message from the Borough of Eatontown:

Starting at 5 p.m, Memorial School will be opened as a staging area to evaculate residents to shelters at Wall Township High School, Holmdel High School and Colts Neck High School.

Anyone who wants to be evacuated should come to the school, leave their car in the parking lot and do NOT bring any pets.

There are still no mandatory evacuations for the area, but anyone who wants to leave should BEFORE the hurricane hits the area. I
