Proposed Solar Carport on Industrial Way to Come Before Eatontown Planning Board

A public hearing will be held on June 27 for an application by Computer Data Source, Inc. to build a 19-foot by 300-foot solar carport as an alternative energy source.

An alternative energy project for an Industrial Way business is on the docket for next week's planning board meeting in Eatontown, according to a public notice.

The Eatontown Planning Board will hold a public hearing on June 27 at 7:30 p.m. to consider the application of Computer Data Source, Inc., 275 Industrial Way West to install a 30-foot by 110-foot solar canopy to the rear of the property on the easterly side and install a solar carport structure 19-feet by 300-feet in size over a portion of the easterly parking lot to create an alternate energy source.

The planning board meeting is open to the public and is held in Borough Hall, 47 Broad St. The application and plans are on file at the planning board office in Borough Hall and can be viewed during business hours.
