Noise is Topic of Latest Tinton Falls Motocross Hearing

No decision was reached in the case.

Noise experts from Jersey Shore Motocross and the Tinton Falls Zoning Board of adjustment presented their findings on the sound levels around the area of a proposed motocross track in the borough, according to a report on NJ.com.

Both had conflicting reports on the amount of noise already generated the 21-acre site next to the Mazza & Sons Demolition and Recycling facility off Shafto Road, compared to racing that occurs at Raceway Park.

The public, which reportedly filled the Seabrook Village auditorium, did not get a chance to question applicants, but will likely get a chance at the next meeting at the same location on Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m.
