Long Branch Recognized by Freeholders For The New 19-Acre Manahasset Park

City presented with sign to commemorate open space grant program

Long Branch has been recognized by the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders for the construction of Mahahasset Park.

The open space grant project was one of 15 recognized by the Freeholders this week. The city was given a sign to commemorate the completion of the project, and City Administrator Howard Woolley was on hand to accept it.

“What better time than July’s National Park and Recreation Month to recognize communities who successfully completed Municipal Open Space Grant Program projects in the past year,” said Freeholder Director Robert D. Clifton.
