UPDATE: Long Branch, Eatontown, Tinton Falls Offices Closed Friday

Police are asking residents to not park on the street.

All Long Branch city offices will be closed on Friday due to the snowstorm that dropped several inches of snow in the Long Branch-Eatontown area.

Eatontown Borough Administrator George Jackson said Eatontown municipal offices will be closed due to the weather.

Eatontown Police and Department of Public Works employees will be reporting for their shifts on Friday.

Tinton Falls Borough Hall is also closed on Friday. 

Police in all towns are asking residents not to park on the street so plows can clear snow.

The Monmouth County Sheriff's Office is reporting that 6-9 inches fell in Monmouth County.

"Please stay off the roads and allow plows to clear the snow," the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office Facebook page stated. "Use extreme caution if you must travel today."

In Long Branch, due to Snow removal operations, garbage and recycling collection for Friday, will be on the next pickup day.
