Free Tax Help Offered in Area Libraries Through March

A free service for low and middle-income taxpayers from AARP. You don't have to be a senior citizen to take advantage of the help.

Are you a low or middle-income taxpayer who needs help with a simple tax return? Beginning in February, volunteers will be at the Library Headquarters in Manalapan, the Eastern Branch Library in Shrewsbury, and the Wall Township branch of the Monmouth County Library

This year's tax preparation assistance is offered by AARP Tax Aide program volunteers. Returns will be handled in a first-come, first-serve basis.

Some caveats: Bring last year's tax returns with you and Social Security cards or comparable identification. If filing a joint return, both taxpayers must be present.
