Fort Redevelopers Meet Wednesday at 7 pm

The Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority meets tonight in Freehold. Patch will be there. Who's coming with?

Fort redevelopers will meet Wednesday for their monthly meeting at the Freehold Agricultural Building, 4000 Kozloski Rd. in Freehold at 7 pm.

The Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority is a state-run board considered to be the for the now closed Fort Monmouth property.

Here is some of what you can expect to be discussed at the meeting:

  • Executive Director Bruce Steadman will give a summary of 2011 activities and give a look ahead to 2012.
  • Requests and recommendations for officer and committee appointments for the coming year.
  • Committee reports on: real estate, , environmental, audit, housing and veterans.

  • Composition of the environmental and historical committees

The board will also hold an executive session to discuss negotiations on pending real estate transactions with the Army.
