Flags Will Fly at Half-Staff for Fallen Long Branch Soldier

Flags will fly at half-staff later this week to honor the service and sacrifice of Long Branch resident and United States Army Sergeant Shauna Brocklebank Adams who died in Korea in March.

Sgt. Adams died during a military training exercise in South Korea on March 28.

Sgt. Adams was a 2003 graduate of Long Branch High School where she was in the National Honor Society and played varsity field hockey and lacrosse, according to her obituary. She graduated from Montclair State University in 2008 and enlisted in the Army in 2010.

Flags will fly a half-staff at all state departments, offices and agencies on Thursday, May 10 in her memory.
