Eatontown's Tax (Wo)Man Sets Grace Period

Due to a delay in mailing tax bills, payments won't be due until Sept. 6.

The tax (wo)man is has extended a grace period for upcoming third quarter payments.

Revisions to the from the state caused a delay in mailing tax bills to residents by the borough's tax collector, Patricia DePonti.

Payments were mailed out on Aug. 10 and are due Sept. 6, according to the borough's Web site.

According to Borough Administrator George Jackson, the new tax rates had to be adjusted and certified, which delayed the original mailing slated for July 14.
