Eagle Scout Commended by Eatontown Council for Wolcott Park Project
The Eatontown Borough Council thanked Eagle Scout Stephen Staba for his efforts in refurbishing a flag pole and monument at Wolcott Park.
Eagle Scout Stephen Staba was honored on Wednesday by the Eatontown Borough Council for his work rehabilitating the flag pole and monument at Wolcott Park.
"This is our way of saying thanks," Mayor Gerald Tarantolo told Staba at the May 11 council meeting. "You did a great job."
Taranatolo read a proclamation on behalf of the borough commending Staba for his efforts, which included a new flag pole, landscaping, rebuilding the stone monument and installing lighting for the flag.

The Eagle Scout project joins a number of other improvements at Wolcott Park, including new playground equipment, basketball courts and batting cages.
"He's the type that gets the job done," said Tarantolo of Staba.
