A large gap now exists in West End after a in February.
Whatever was left of the buildings was quickly demolished and now a grass lot and a view of Montgomery Avenue is all that remains. The lot is bordered by The Lighthouse and East Coast Coin and Jewelry Exchange.
Officials have said that at least one of the building owner has expressed his interest in rebuilding in the area, but there are currently no plans or applications before the Long Branch Planning or Zoning Board of Adjustment.
So, Patch would like to know what readers would like to see built in the area.
Would you like things to be built exactly the way they were, with apartments and various stores occupying the space. Perhaps you would like to see a parking garage built in the area to help deal with some of the parking woes in West End.
Be creative, and let us know what you think in the comments below.
