West Long Branch Resident Indicted On Sexual Assault, Criminal Coercion Charges

The charges stem from incidents that occurred in West Long Branch, Howell and Highlands.

A West Long Branch resident has been indicted on sexual assault and criminal coercion charges.

Mace Shorie, 44, was indicted on Aug. 9, according to court records. Shorie allegedly sexual penetrated the victim who was not identified, while using coercion in the borough, Highlands and Howell between December 2006 and December 2011.

Shorie allegedly threatened the victim, according to court documents.
